Giglio Group has signed an agreement with Media Nusantara Citra, Indonesia’s top provider of pay TV services, for the co-production of a series of TV programmes dedicated to style and fashion, to be broadcast by the main local television channels. The three-year agreement provides for an “equal sharing of revenue from advertising and rights”, according to an official statement.
Meanwhile, Giglio Group will be the sole beneficiary of revenue derived from the associated e-commerce activities. “With a population of around 256 million, 50% of which is under 30, Indonesia is one of the world’s most attractive emerging markets in the field of e-commerce,”, explains CEO Alessandro Giglio, “having achieved a high rate of growth based on strong private consumption”. Media Nusantara Citra is the largest and most integrated multimedia group in Southeastern Asia, which is why this agreement is hugely important in strategic terms, as well as a historic opportunity to offer major Made in Italy brands a window on the Indonesian market.
